The History of Pullen Park

Pullen Park has been one of Raleigh's most popular outdoor family destinations for generations and was established in 1887. Spanning 66 acres, Pullen Park is home to the fifth oldest amusement park in the United States, with a location right next to the North Carolina State University campus. The Pullen Park Aquatic Center features an Olympic-sized pool, where you can enjoy swimming competitions, get a great workout, or sign the kids up for swimming lessons. There are also exercise classes available, and the Pullen Park Aquatic Center is open year-round.
